My current novel-in-progress is a takeoff of the Lovecraftian Cthulhu Mythos, set in Appalachia. I've been working on it for about eight years, and it's less than half done (that's an indication of how difficult it is for me to get time to write). My first novel took some 20 years to write --I hope this one doesn't take that long! I'm also planning to slightly revise a story (which will be a sort of prequel to the novel) that I was invited to submit for a projected anthology of LOvecraftian tales by Christian authors.
