Julia Lara asked Mary E. Pearson:

Hi, your way of writing got me so hard I read "The Kiss of Deception" in a night. I needed to know who was who before going to sleep hahaha My question is, how did you get the idea of writing in these three intriguing different pov?

Mary E. Pearson My job as a writer is to put the reader into the shoes of the character. Not just to show the reader how the character experiences their world, but to FEEL what the character feels. When Lia finds out who is who, I wanted the reader to feel what Lia feels. Another reason I wrote it this way, was so the reader would give each of the male characters a chance and not dismiss or embrace one of them just because he was the "good guy" or the "bad boy." I wanted to show that sometimes it's hard to tell the good from the bad and maybe there is a whole lot of overlapping.
