Lena
Lena asked Mary E. Pearson:

Did you know beforehand who was to be the assassin and who was to be the prince or did you just go in blind and have it revealed to you at some point along the way? And if the latter, at what point did you decide?

Mary E. Pearson Yes, I knew from the start. I had to so I wouldn't get their own unique traits mixed up--and I had to keep their stories straight! I needed to be careful how much I said about each one under their respective names and titles, so the reader could wonder along--just like Lia. It was a bit of a puzzle making it work!
