I'm having a great time reading The fire and ice series but I'm a little confused. The first book I read was Drive and now I'm reading Edge. And I came across this sentence: "Sadie’s father always let him (Kyler) help feed and brush the horses, and it was one of his favorite places to go." But... Isn't Sadie's family dead? Like... 10 years ago dead?
