Also read not just the kind of books you love, but books you're curious about. Read both good and bad fiction to see what's out there. Read books from international authors for another perspective. Read outside of your comfort zone.

Hi Bonnie, this may seem pretty odd, but I was watching an old VF podcast when you mentioned that if you were ever a P.I you'd have to be a pacifist P.I. I laughed, but the idea of 'Bonnie Burton: Pacifist P.I' has been circling in my head ever since. So if I actually wrote a fanfiction of this, would you mind? I imagine her being trained by Magnum (who might be a werewolf) and getting involved in supernatural crimes.
