Haha, it doesn’t take much to inspire me to write.
What I have to do is stop making stories up at anything that happens around me aloud. Somebody might mention something in a conversation, and I say, ‘What if bla bla bla?’ And I go on to form some outlandish story plot.
The people I’m with, usually roll their eyes, and say, ‘Oh, Dale.’ My comeback, ‘You started it.’
But seriously, I use some quiet time before I start my day’s writing to think about where I’m up to in a story. I soon have my brain humming and start writing.
