Shamiya asked Bart King:

Hey bart do you have any recemendations on websites that I can go to and read full books for free with no downloading?

Bart King Hi Shamiya!

Thanks for the question. The quick answer is "Nope."

The loooonger answer is that there are good reasons not to download free books. For one, you never really know WHAT you're downloading at sites that offer this service. That's because they are generally illegal—so you're in danger of getting malware and nasty viruses with your download.

The reason these sites are illegal (if they're offering free downloads of books that are for sale) is that authors work really hard to write their books. Even the bad ones and ones we don't like are the result of a LOT of effort. These authors deserve to be paid for their hard work—after all, a lot of them really depend on that income!

(What I'm describing doesn't apply to special free offers from reputable ebook suppliers, like Kindle. And it doesn't apply to writers who offer their own stuff for free, like self-published stuff or fan fiction.)

Hopefully this makes sense—and whatever decision you make, keep on reading!

Best,

Bart
