Inspiration comes from everywhere. For Taleweaver's, it's specific scenes that pop into my head for whatever reason and build around those. Or a sentence in the book that leads off to other roads. New stuff can be anything. Developing a new concept based off gargoyles that came about from looking at one on a building one day.
