How do you deal with writer’s block?

Noel Anenberg I don't really believe in "writer's block." When working on a novel or screenplay I show up everyday about the same time. Some days the words stream from my fingertips to my keyboard and onto the glowing screen before me. Other days I feel drugged, some might say comatose, my head feels filled with sludge. I write no matter what. Even on bad days when the words trickle out like a slow drip from a leak in the roof I am shocked that at the end of the day I have advanced my "cause!"
