Sandy
Sandy asked Peter Tickler:

Hi. I haven't had the pleasure of reading your books (yet!) but read the blurb for "Dead in the Water". Sounds like it's right up my alley. Just wondering how you would describe your writing style within the crime genre...cozy, gritty, police procedural, etc.? Thanks!

Peter Tickler Not that gritty. My previous works are police procedurals. But "Dead in the Water" is primarily told from the point of view of Doug Mullen - he is new to the private eye business, ex-army, ex-runaway, struggling human being. It is set in Oxford, but town rather than gown. He is a nice guy in a tough world. Hope that covers your question!
