How do you get inspired to write?

Kara Lucas I have three teenagers, so sometimes I feel like inspiration is always around me. :) Also, just working in my field as a social worker inspires me daily, because I see powerful stories of struggle, tragedy, and personal redemption all around me,every day. If it is one thing I truly believe it, it is that everyone has a powerful story to tell. I have been a social worker for twenty years, so of course themes related to teens in foster care, abandonment, adoption, etc... are very dear to my heart.
