what is your favorite star wars book you have written and do you ever read what you write after it gets published and where did you get the idea for the children of fire book?

Drew Karpyshyn Tricky - three questions in one! I love all my Star Wars books, but Darth Bane: Path of Destruction was my first, so it will always be special for me. As for reading what I write after it gets published, it's not something I usually do. I'm too busy working on other stuff, or reading books by other authors, to go back to my own stuff. Finally, Children of Fire - book one of my Chaos Born series - was inspired by the great fantasy books I read growing up: the Shannara books, the Belgariad, the Dragonlance Chronicles and others. Children of Fire is my take on the classic fantasy sword and sorcery genre.
