I'm afraid this one is glaringly obvious, but Lockwood seems to be modeled on Sherlock Holmes. If so, would you say that Lucy has any similarities to Watson? Oh, and as the kids get older, will there be any romantic sparks between any of the three of them?

I have you to thank for instilling the urge to think and write creatively. This urge stays with me. What/who was your greatest inspiration for the trilogy? How did you approach the writing process?
