Writing has always been there for me. It was an escape for me, a way out. I didn't begin writing novel length works until the 90's. As a single, working mom, it just wasn't possible for me to focus on it seriously without feeling like I was neglecting my kids or work.
As far as publishing... That would be my mother-in-law;s doing. She got a hold of Echoes of Harmony and didn't give up until I took the leap. She's still my number one fan.
