Goodreads asked Lori L. Robinett:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Lori L. Robinett Ignore it. My job is to show up at the page every single day, whether inspired or not. If I'm feeling blocked on one project, I switch to another or change what I'm doing. I can work on something new, edit something I've already written, or work on marketing what's already out there. Another thing that works really well is to physically switch things around. If I'm feeling stuck, I might switch from my laptop to my Alphasmart, or take a notebook and write in longhand (that's a GREAT way to noodle ideas).

As an aside: writer's block was never an issue with Denim & Diamonds. I used my commuting time to talk out loud to my characters, and simply asked them what they planned to do that evening. It was a great way to keep the flow of words going!
