What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kate Breslin My advice: Hone your craft. Attend workshops and webinars on writing. Find a critique group or reader friends you trust to help "sound out" the quality/content of your writing. If writing is your passion and you feel God has called you to this purpose, then never, never, never give up! I've been writing 25 years and sold my first novel five years ago. I have a mountain of rejection letters to prove I've made progress through those years. I've come to realize that while craft can be learned, persistence comes from the heart, and with today's book industry, it's the ultimate key to success.
