Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jay Scully My recent book Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler began as a spiritual journey for me. What started as a delving into the Seven Deadly Sins morphed into something I never saw coming. I also wanted to write in the first person and from a woman's point of view. I like to think about progressing as a writer, no producing a craft. Kind of like Truman Capote, you know. For instance, because I felt few writer did this, I set myself apart and learned to write "script"--or screenplay.
