Wendy Lindstrom:
Are the Grayson Brothers and Second Chance Brides series the same books?

Hi Melissa,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, they are the same stories. The difference is, the Grayson Brothers series is the sensual edition and the Second Chance Brides series is the sweet edition, which means the sweet editions do not contain full love scenes.
First, for an explanation, since writing the Grayson Brothers series I've been asked numerous times over the years to publish sweet editions that readers can share with their teen daughters and also that sweet/inspirational/Christian readers prefer to read. So I finally created and published the sweet editions (Second Chance Brides series) early this year.
My dilemma in publishing the sweet editions was how to flag them as a different editions so readers could easily select their preferred reading (sweet or sensual) and also flag the books as the same stories for readers who may have already read my Grayson Brothers series. After lots of research and discussions with fellow authors, I decided the best way to make a clear distinction between the sensual Grayson Brothers series and the sweet Second Chance Brides series was to create new titles and covers, BUT to also note in the book summary and title page and at the beginning of chapter one that it is the sweet edition of a corresponding Grayson book.
So as you can see, there is no intent to confuse or defraud, just an author trying to please the readers she adores. For the most part, and with a few exceptions, this has worked well.
On what I hope to be a positive note, I'll be sending out a newsletter next week with pre-order links for my next NEW book in the Grayson Brothers series (there will be a sweet edition as well), which will be released on January 3rd. This is Nancy Grayson’s love story with Hal Grayson, and I'm really excited to share this story with all of you.
Thank you again for reaching out. I appreciate your support.
