My latest idea is the story of a group of fraternity brothers meeting up for their 40th college reunion, and one of them turns up dead. The police rule it as an accidental death and won't investigate it as a homicide, so the brothers take the bull by the horns and investigate it themselves. The repercussions of their findings are enormous, and dangerous.
