How do you get inspired to write?

Brittney Coon Everything inspires me. Music, concerts, movies, TV shows, people at the mall, personal memories, books, news stories, and so on. I get a spark from something and think about it. I ask myself a lot of "what if this happened" and the idea turns into a story. I write it down so I don't forget. If I truly love the idea I work on an outline and the first character. If I like it, but not in love, I write it down and leave it on the document I have all my ideas/summaries on. When I feel like writing something new I go there and reread all my ideas and pick the one that seems to pull my attention.
