Sometimes just a phrase will ignite a story. I once read a news article where an actress was describing how her character, an elegant elf, ended up with a scruffy human ranger. She said "Every girl likes a bit of rough sometimes." And my novel A BIT OF ROUGH just poured out of my head. Just a phrase or a photo will do it.
