Your blog talks about jealousy, I totally agree. What made you realise that was the heart of the problem in the book?

Rachel Hauck Hi Elizabeth, great to hear from you! I appreciate your kind words so much!! What made me realize the problem was jealousy? I think when I realized what Peg was going through, how dark she'd become. Her jealousy of Colette caused her to care only for herself. I plan my characters as best I can, but when I start writing I look for the parallels and the truths that start to rise up.
