Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Nancy Deswik MacCreery The book I'm currently working on is based on an event in "Unexpected Impact", the second book in the Scoops and Schemes Series. I was curious how an intimidating dictator would relate with the long lost daughter who he rescued from human traffickers. The book incorporates several new characters with their own quirks and emotional problems, including a lovely little orphan that has a propensity to take things apart. Watch for it!
