The idea for my latest book wasn't really my own. K.M. Thompson came to me and was like 'I've got an idea for a book, want to write it with me?' and I was like 'yeah why the hell not!'. We spoke in length about what we wanted for the story with both of us flinging in ideas. So although the story isn't my idea it still has roughly half of my ideas in there.
