I draw my inspiration from many sources. Typically little bits of information just stick in my thoughts and eventually the combination of disparate ideas come together to form an idea I build on. It's a little like shaking up a bag of Scrabble tiles, dumping them on the ground and having a single word come out. From that I start the work of building a story round it.
