Hi! Do you have a specific plot for the Little Mermaid? If so what is it about? Is it a looser retelling of the little mermaid? Sorry, I'm just curious. I love your books! I just don't like the little mermaid...but I'm excited to read it! I never liked Robin Hood but you did spectacular with that! Same with Cinderella. Anyway thank you :)

I am writing my Little Mermaid story now, and it is definitely a loose retelling, since my heroine is not a mermaid. :-) She is actually the ward of the King of England. She runs away from the king and from the marriage the king arranged for her, much like the little mermaid did. She "falls in love" with a guy, a prince of sorts--it's actually Ranulf and Annabel's son from The Merchant's Daughter--who will inherit lots of land and wealth from his father, as he is the oldest son. But she is not as obsessive about him as the mermaid was in the original story. She saves him from drowning, much like the original story, and she sacrifices a lot just to be in the town where he lives, like the original, but the similarities pretty much end there. Definitely there will NOT be a tragic ending. This is my story, and all my stories end hopefully and happily. :-) With God you always get a happy ending.
