How do you get inspired to write?

Kevin Fury Usually an idea will come to me, sometimes its just a feeling, nothing specific. When that happens, I sit down and go with it. I'm more of "pantser" meaning I write by the seat of my pants but I've started recently to do more outlining because it helps save time. If I just go with the inspiration, sometimes I end up with a story that runs into a wall and I have to start over. So I am evolving as a writer and trying to plan things out a bit as I write.
