Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Laura Clark Honestly, I was hanging out on my deck one day, enjoying the perfect spring weather, and I felt this overwhelming itch to write something. I took out my iPad & started writing this short story about teenagers. Writing on your iPad isn't the most practical way to write, but once I started, I couldn't stop. I eventually wised up and transferred my writing to my laptop. What started out as a short story turned into a book. Then, it just sort of became a series. I wasn't planning on sharing it with anyone at first, but my sister-in-law wanted to read it. So, I let her and she liked it so much that I decided to do something with it.
