Goodreads asked Gary Henson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Gary Henson Lots of ways.
- stop writing for a day and watch old movies, like 'Gamma Men from Mars' or any Red Skelton movie.
- take a completely off the wall tangent in the story and let it just go anywhere. once that path plays out, I generally find I can focus again. Bonus that now I have cool short story to work on! ;-)
- grab a pad of paper, a plate of nachos and a glass of Texas Rodeo Red and hit the patio. Then I just doodle or sketch or write about sometime stupid to get my mind out of the rut.
