How do you get inspired to write?

Amanda Orneck I have had an internal narrator in my head for as long as I can remember. The only way to silence that narrator is to write down the narration on paper. The inspiration to write starts with what that narrator is talking about. Sometimes it's a character thrown into a strange situation, sometimes it's a place that feels like it should be recorded. When I get to the point where the narrator is talking about something I'm interested in learning more about, then I start planning out a story.
