How do you get inspired to write?

Wayne Clark My parents were readers and books seemed magical. When I was a young teen I decided I wanted to write fiction some day. I also wanted to be a newspaperman because my father had once been one. I found a manual for a journalism correspondence course he'd taken a long before and studied it. One thing led to another an I was working at a newspaper by the age of 17. By my early 20s I was trying my hand at fiction.
