How old are Nev and Danny in Deephaven? Also, what is the age range of students at the academy?

I'm usually pretty vague on the exact age of my protagonists, partially to help a wider range of young readers identify with the character. In my own private opinion, Nev and Danny are 12-14ish, Patience is 16-17ish. Deephaven caters to a loosely high-school age crowd, though there are a couple younger students in there.
