Hi Judi - Is Baker's Blues not available at public libraries? A few of us have been looking and can't find it!

Judi Hendricks Hi, Rachel--First of all, thanks for looking for Baker's Blues in your library, and I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner...I've been out of town. Anyway, libraries have always been very important to me and it really makes me sad that most are not carrying this book. There are many factors involved, mainly that it's a small independent press, not Harper Collins, and many libraries these days are constrained by city and county governments about which distributors they can use. Sometimes if they get enough requests for a book they can get money from their Friends of the Library group to purchase it. That's about the only suggestion I have, and I do appreciate your trying to find the book.

I don't have a question? but a comment. I 'loved' your Bread Alone series! I thought these 3 books were brilliantly written and the tale that you wove through these books was amazing! The attention to detail was incredible! It was my first time reading your work and I will now explore your other works. I just love when an author leaves you wanting more of their style of writing!
