What inspired you to write Rescued? And when did you know you had more than just one book and a whole Alley Kitten Series?

When I decided to start writing romance, I knew I wanted to write about couples and causes. My guy and I do animal rescue work together, and it's a passion for us. So I thought, why not start with a cause I know? It's so much fun to share with readers the details of fostering, humane trapping, socialization, and the other work that goes into helping feral cats and kittens. There are so many cute, adorable kitties who need their stories to be told! Oh, and the humans are ok too, I guess. ;)
