How do you deal with writer’s block?

Garnell Wallace Housework! It may seem strange, but when I'm struggling with a scene or story, I move away from the computer and do some household chore and while I'm scrubbing the toilet the story just falls into place. I don't think it is the housework but more moving your concentration somewhere else and for some people that may mean taking a walk or going to another story. For me I get to write and clean my house at the same time. You can't beat that!
