What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Tom Olsinski Power. On the blank page I can write whatever I want. I can create characters and scenes and stories that come from my imagination. It's almost God-like. I control the plot and how the players perform. No other media allows that. Independence in creating at the keyboard what you want offers a certain feeling that is rare in life. Not for everyone, but it's part of what I like. The feedback from people who say they enjoyed reading my words and the impact they had has been a lifetime thrill.
