Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Grace Anthony My writing process has no rhyme or reason, I can't explain how it works most of the time. Sometimes book ideas come from a picture or even a single word. (Off topic, quirky is my favorite word)
Bu my most recent book, Timeless, was inspired by many things. I get my ideas from books, movies, and nature. Timeless in particular was inspired partly by Tangled, Frozen, K.M. Shea's fairy tale series, and the Ever Afters series.
Rapunzel has always been my favorite fairy tale princess. So it felt natural to me to write a book with her in it. By chance, she didn't end up being the main character. I'm still not entirely sure how Little Red Riding Hood became the MC.
But in the end, I am very pleased with how Timeless turned out.
