Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Susan Q. Knittle-Hunter I came up with the idea for my most recently published book, "A Bill Of Rights For Periodic Paralysis Patients," from the over 450 members of my Periodic Paralysis Network Support Group. During daily discussions it is clear that there is a need for individuals with Periodic Paralysis to empower themselves with necessary information in order to protect themselves when dealing with medical professionals and to teach those working with these patients more about the condition and how to better treat them and their symptoms. This metabolic disorder is very rare, and is misunderstood. It is most often misdiagnosed and mistreated, which can cause damage, or even death in some situations. I hope it will be read by medical professionals to understand the condition better; patients with Periodic Paralysis in order to be empowered by knowing their rights and more about their condition and anyone interested in knowing more about Periodic Paralysis.
