JOSEPHINE BAKER'S LAST DANCE debuts Dec. 4, and I'm gearing up to start a social media campaign featuring the many photos I have from her life and times as well as ones I took in St. Louis, where she lived as a child; Paris; and the Dordogne, where she owned a castle. I have so much knowledge about this amazing performer, spy, and civil rights activist that I want to share!
As for my next project, I have two in mind: an autofiction novel about growing up in the Bible Belt, and a biographical novel about a kick-ass woman from the 1960s. PLUS I'm thinking to aim for grad school in fall 2020 so I can start my PhD!

I read Josephine's last dance recently, really enjoyed it, and you will now have to write at least an addendum to the next edition: despite being the most horrible president we've had in France, Macron yielded to a petition asking for Josephine to be interred at Le Pantheon, one of the highest honours that can be given to a person. https://tinyurl.com/4pwpb6vw Yay!?!

Being a writer is what I want the most in this world, nothing makes me happier than writing, but I'm more and more frustrated with each passing day, because I've been blocked for 3 years. And it is not that I have an unfinished story. I have NOTHING AT ALL. A blank page in front of me, that only makes me sadder... Is there a way to overcome this? How do you handle it?
