First of all I love all your books the Glass series mainly but I am very hesitant about your latest series Shadows Study. Is it about Yelena in her earlier years or is it about later after she is with Valek but before Opal? I guess I'm just a bit confused. Are you going to start a new series after Opal like say about Rea and Tea? What about a new line of characters?

Maria V. Snyder Hi Renetta! Glad to hear you've enjoyed my books :) The events in Shadow Study starts a few months after Spy Glass ends - so it's when Valek is done helping Opal with the Bloodrose clan. There are flashbacks in Shadow Study, but they're about Valek and how he became an assassin and how he met the Commander and killed the King. Opal and Devlen are in the new Study books as well as Reema and Teegan. If I write more books in the Study/Glass world, I would probably focus on Reema and Teegan and a few other younger characters like Fisk and Quinn. Hope this helps!
