How do you get inspired to write?

D.C. Cowan It changes as I grow older. Elemental Angels, I started writing when I was 15 and finished in college. I was greatly inspired by anime and various fantasy novels and movies I enjoyed as a youth, but, many of which, I no longer would enjoy now. Now, I more inspired by life events and people that I've met such as my book My Amoretto which was inspired by people that I met in Italy. As I grow older, my books are slowly starting to come back to reality and venturing away from foreign worlds like my work Angelic Heroes Trilogy. I don't know if I'll ever write more fantasy perhaps graphic novels which is something that I want to explore because of my love of art, but we'll see.
