Stephanie asked Kimberly Williams-Paisley:

Kim, I am excited to read your book. Both my parents are deceased so I won't have to deal with this as a child. However I do deal with the effects of dementia on a daily basis with the patients that I care for, and I see how it effects their family members. Was it hard to write this book? Was it hard to be reminded of the relationship that you used to have with your mom?

Kimberly Williams-Paisley First of all, thank you for caring for dementia patients, and probably their family members as well sometimes. We are so grateful for people like you that take on the heavy lifting after the family no longer can. It was hard writing this book, yes, but also very rewarding and healing. I hope reading it gives you further insight into the family perspective.
