How do you get inspired to write?

Edward A. Dreyfus I inspired by my patients. I have been a practicing clinical psychologist for 50 years and have listened to countless stories of pain and suffering. I have been inspired by my patient's courage as they struggle with their inner demons. My books are based on what I have learned from my patients, and my hope is that their stories will help others. Writing is way to reach more people than I could simply by consulting in my office.
