Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Edie Ramer Sorry for taking so long to answer. My last published book was A Love & Murder Christmas. I think I started it last September. Although it's a stand-alone, it did have characters who were in the previous Love & Murder book. There's also a pooka in it, and that idea came as I was in bed. I hopped up, hurried to my office and scribbled it down. I thought I must be nuts to use it, because it's a paranormal element, and this is a romantic suspense series. But I really liked the idea, and it worked. As usual, the book changed as I wrote it. Quite a bit of the dramatic scene near the end was a surprise to me, so I hope it's a surprise to my readers, too.
