How do you get inspired to write?

Jennifer Byars It seems like just about anything can make a story form in my mind. From the topics of the day, to that book you just read and thought it should've gone a completely different direction then what it did, a photo, something you saw while walking in the park, or even a song on the radio.
For me though, inspiration seems to find me at two or three in the morning. This is when I finally leave my computer and lay my head down on the pillow to go to sleep, that all my best ideas come to me.
Then I grab my cell phone and open notes and text my ideas down so I don't forget them. (My husband gets very annoyed with me on those nights. Because sometimes when I'm really tired, I talk text... ;))
But Really inspiration is everywhere, I normally just have to slow my mind down to catch one.
