What filter was your author picture taken with? Can I find it on Instagram? It's very cool (and North Carolina-y (ish?)!)

Taylor Brown Cynthia, believe it or not, that picture is from an actual tintype taken by my friend Harry Taylor, who uses an authentic 19th-century camera. It requires a 12-second exposure and the shots are developed on small metal plates...it's quite an experience! Here's his website:
