What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Robin Puelma One of the best things about being a writer--for me--is getting to take the crappy things that happen in life--whether that's situations, hard-to-love people, health issues, etc.--and transform them into something creative and beautiful. Anxiety and OCD tendencies are huge issues in my life. But I'm learning how to transform them into positives in my writing--they've given my characters more depth and my stories more meaning.
