My advice is simple. If you love writing, then simply write.
Go with it, don't let anybody tell you to do otherwise, nothing can stop you writing, you can do it anywhere, all you need is a pen/pencil and a notepad. Don't be blinded by so called tips and tricks to writing stories or plots etc. You write how you feel natural writing, that is where your own true voice lies, don't let anyone take that from you. There is no time limit, so never rush anything, just write.
