Nicholas Boyland
Nicholas Boyland asked Cameron J. Quinn:

Hi Cameron, something which intrigues me; do you sit down and plan out a novel from start to finish or do you invent the characters and let them dictate the story?

Cameron J. Quinn I am a planner. I haven't always been that way, but after writing 80k words to nowhere I learned how important outlines can be to save time. In the case of The Starsboro Chronicles, I knew where the series needed to go and wrote three of them. I thought they were the first three but as I polished How to Get Arrested for publication I realized that was not the case. Now there are three between Arrested and what was originally the second. So, it would seem I still have to work on my planning! ;)
