How do you deal with writer’s block?

Benjamin M. Weilert Preparation. I rarely get writer's block because I do not have the time to get writer's block. Writing during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) forces me to push toward the deadline and merely note where I'd need to make changes later. Of course, this is also possible because, during the other 11 months of the year, I plan out how the story will play out. If I follow my plan, there's not much room for writer's block.
